Beautiful memorial that allows me to reflect on my military past. Love the Veterans Day services where I can hide in the back of the crowd and get choked up out of sight.

I stopped by the Memorial this past Sunday, as this is where I go to say 'Hi' to my dad :) and I saw how beautifully the site is progressing. I love how peaceful it is there and to hear the waterfall and see the flags blowing... just beautiful. I cant wait to see the next phase of the Memorial Garden come together !

I was surprised but very glad to find this. I live in Jackson but only just found out about it. I think I will get a brick soon as well if there are any still available. I will have to first figure out how to fit my name on there. lol Thank you for this park. This should fit on a brick. Kim Kowalczyk SSG Crime Invest US Army 76-90

Ken, we met while in AC (I was sitting near you) and it's taken me awhile to view the memorial but the wait was quite worth it. You & others have done all of us veterans proud. Job well done............hoorah!

I just finished watching, for the 50th time, the opening dedication ceremony of the Jackson Veterans Memorial on 11/11/11. Ken posted it some time back and I saved it. Iam still amazed at this outstanding accomplishment. Doc Walker

My father, George W Clayton, passed away this July 27, 2012. Before he was hospitalized, we were able to bring him to the site to see his paver and how proud he was! We have asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to this wonderful project! God Bless You!

Viewed the Memorial Garden site this morning with my old friend Charles Garofano. I was very impressed and will make a report at our next MCL meeting.

Very wonderful project! I am working on a memorial garden in Wichita Ks on the Robt. Dole Medical Center grounds. It is in the early phase of planning. Can you give me any advice as to how to get the word out to a large group of people? My dad who died last year and my son in the marines are my inspiration for the project. We have a landscape plan , pavement donation, and plants from different nurseries.

What a wonderful thing to do. It's been a long time since I've called Jackson my home, but this makes me proud I lived there. God bless all the men and women in our armed services. Without them we would not have the freedom's we have .Do not take them lightly, alot of people paid the ultimate sacrifice so we can enjoy them. God Bless the U.S.A.
